Having started this thread, I'd better chime in!
Iwas thinking Saturday was good (though Sunday is doable too)... heck... both days?
Anyway, Not sure about the "brief" stop part.... but I'm an easy going soul.
Still looking forward to join a group tour.
Clive.

Is Cold Creek Tavern open on Saturday? I know that Sunday it's a big (fun) scene up there with live music, great food and cool cars and bikes.
As to the brief stop comment. IMHO I'm not sure that there is much at the Autofest that warrants more than a two hour visit - others can decide this.
I like Sunday - Fewer folks on the road early.

Proposed "Self-Guided Tour": 7:00 a.m. depart from the Starbucks in the shopping center on the corner of Agoura Rd and Las Virgenes (Malibu Canyon) in Calabasas. Take the 101 N to the 23 north toward Moorpark. Pick up folks in Moorpark at the Grinder at the intersection of the 118 and 23. Continue on 23 through Grimes Canyon to the 126. Take the 126 to the 150. Take the 150 through Ojai and around Lake Casitas and out to PCH. PCH (101) to the Autofest. After the Autofest go North on the 101 to the 154. Exit 154 at Stagecoach Rd. Take Stagecoach to Cold Springs Tavern.
If this route works for people, I'll produce detailed self-guided tours and distribute at the departure point.
Don't you just love my avitar?

Sounds good Fred. That's why you are the HWFMR tour guide! Don't forget, Jan's gonna need a walkie talkie or she ain't gonna be happy.
I just noticed your sig! Looks like ya finally came to your senses. Maybe I should change my avatar so you don't start thinking overtime again.
