Carnewal carries 996 stickshift ***** which will work on a 993. Perhaps the tip will work also? Might be worth contacting Gert at the address shown on his picture below.

[QUOTE=Chuck W.]I am guessing not...but I sure like they way they look and feel over ours. TIA
You guessed it right, the 996 tips won't fit...however I switched it to the carbon fiber model, expensive but it looks/feels great IMO.

Hi Chuck,
I have never tried this before.
Perhaps with some modifications, it could be possible but this is something
that needs to be checked.
Regards,
Gert;
I'll keep asking around. It's a mod I would like to do.

Chuck, I am interested in looking into doing this too. Might be interesting to pick one up
cheap (?) from a dismantler and stare at it for a while. From the pictures, I can't see why
it couldn't be adapted to work...I agree, it would be a nice upgrade.

you can drink your Latte, text message, change you XM radio station, open or close you CAB AND have a conversation with your passenger ALL AT THE SAME TIME!! Now try this with a Stick! You will still be driving in first gear...and probably blow up your engine and come running to Rennlist to bitch about it!!
