Default Luxury Car Network advice, please.

Can anybody give me a thumbs up or down on Luxury Car Network. They have
a nice 993 that I might be interested in, but I know nothing about this broker. Your advice would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Kent

kent, i just bought a C2S through mike mckoy at LCN, it was a fairly long process because i was importing the car to canada and it took a while to have the tiltled cleared due to a lack of communication at the previous owner's bank. besides that the car was as promised and mike was very straight forward, i couldn't be happier with the car. glenn
p.s.do a PPI

Glenn, Thanks for your input, that’s one on the plus side! Glad you’re pleased with your car, what year and color? Who did your PPI? Was it an independent recommended by LCN or from someone on the board?

I almost bought a '95 993 through them. My opinion is mixed. It took a lot to get them to let me speak directly with the owner, and then the way their Purchase agreement & CC deposit works, takes a bit of blind faith. My biggest complaint was after driving 3 hours to see the car, it was not as represented. It was represented as being in excellent condition but turned out to be fair at best. The broker said he was surprised as well, and is no longer representing the car.

Just ask for lots of Pics & make sure you talk directly with the buyer or have someone local look at the car prior to traveling.

Brian, I know that sinking feeling when you set your eyes on a car that is misrepresented, especially after driving 3 hours. I had a similar experience driving from PHX to LA, took one look and was back in the car 5 minutes later heading home.

I appreciate your good advise, PPI, pictures, seller contact and viewing by a local member.

Without rehashing everything, there was the same discussion about 2 months ago, search the archives and you'll be able to learn more.
