Hey Folks..!

Sorry for the delayed reply - but I've had my head in a server all day (it's my "day off"?? HUH??! ) Anyway - it's off again right now - but it should be back on in a minute.. While I've been playing with all the code and changing servers, and yes - I did re-program some of the SPAM filters, so hopefully, they hold up, as well as some new AV features...

I'll try to bring the Rennlist Mail server up in a few minutes again - and this time, with an upgrade to some of the core code as well..

OK - after today, I made a lot of changes, including some new SPAM and AV rules (OK - a LOT of new rules). The Rennlist Mail accounts are now sitting on a new server.....

My thanks again for your patience and support while I try to do 3 jobs at once - but this "job" on the mail server should be set....

I haven't been able to access my email for several days -- it gives me a "login failure" message.

That tracert is accurate and as expected.. That last hop to my machine *should* time out, based on the security settings I have in place

I get a login failure when I try to log in to my account. It says my session has timed out. How can I get into my email account?

It has been working for me for the past two days. I like the change to the webmail version, it periodically updates by itself now. Thanks again John. BTW, are there any options to change the look?

Hey Justin!

Hmmm - can you check your e-mail settings? They are:

SMTP Server: mail.rennlist.net
POP3: mail.rennlist.net
IMAP Server: mail.rennlist.net
Web Interface: http://mail.rennlist.net

Since you are not getting an authentication error, I'm guessing it's reaching the server that is the problem??

You can PM me if you want me to reset your password or walk you through how to make these changes, OK??

Also - Hi George..!

Once you log into the webmail - you will see a "settings" link at the top. That allows you to change the # of displayed messages, filters, etc. But - the basic look is pretty well set in so far as color schemes, etc..

Hi John,

I am having no trouble accessing the server for the past several days, thanks for taking care of that. i have a question regarding your new SPAM filtering that you implemented. I have a wholesale customer that I have been instructing to send me e-mail to both my Rennlist account and my Road Runner account, due to the periodic problems with my Rennlist account.

He has been doing this for the past 9 months. over the last three days, he is still e-mailing me to both accounts, but the Rennlist account never transmits his messages to me. he uses a Yahoo e-mail account for these exchanges. Is there any way to allow the SPAM-blocked messages to come through? I would hate to miss other customer's e-mail because the SPAM filter is too strict. i can easily delete the SPAM.
