Sold my beautiful 993 -- it had 19K miles on it -- I got $36K. A great car, I simply did't drive it enough. Not sure how long I can last without getting another car.
Well, I hope it is not too long until the next one!
Keep this in mind. When you do buy the next one, drive it! It is much more rewarding and financially attractive to put miles on your car rather than saving it for the next owner.
Think about what you pay for it, insurance, maintenance, and garage space. All these cost you money. If you are like most of us, myself included, you may have a loan on the car, so add interest to the total equation. This is your cost of ownership. If you divide that by the miles you drove you get a picture of your cost per mile of enjoyment.
Drive your next car like it is your last Porsche car and get some fun out of it.
Hope to hear that you are back soon with something new.
How did you sell it--i.e. online site(s) or local word of mouth? I'm try to refine my search strategy as to how to track one of these down.

Marv -- I agree, these cars need to be driven -- I actually came out ahead on this deal -- I did not on the other cars I've bought and sold. I look at this as a hobby, so I expect to loose a few bucks -- fun generally costs something.
InTheAir -- I had it listed on autotrader.com -- seems like they have several on an ongoing basis. The individual who bought my last car found out from his wife that mine was for sale and he bought this one. The car was perfect.
