Thanks! I really do like it! Classy looking and not over the top.

Have you tried putting on w/o the tape or will it just fall right out?

That is nice, and I don't usually care for the aluminum rings but those are subdued. Where do they come from?

Arrwin,

installing the rings is a piece of cake, they fit right in. And the tape makes it a very clean finish, no mess with glue or silicons. I didn't put tape all around. Just 4 - 6 strips of 1 centimeter depending on the size of the ring. Removing them would be very easy too with just a few spots to clean.
The edge of the rings match perfectly the edge of the bezels.

I just cleaned/polished them prior to installing with some soft alu-polish.

I really came across these by accident during a websearch. I was surprised that I never saw them before on a Rennlist thread.

Got lots of positive reactions from friends. Some thougt they were factory installed.

Anyway, its all a matter of personal taste.

Take care u all,

Chris,

You can order them here : www.armaturenringe.de

They are based in Germany, accept Paypal, ship worldwide, price around 70$ including shipping.

No affiliations whatsoever, just happy proud customer.

Well, that was interesting. Problem is, I don't sprekenzie Duetch (?). Can you translate for me? Does the kit include all five rings? What about shipping costs?

Chris,

They speak english. Ask for Holger, think he is the owner of the company.

Yes, the kit includes all five rings. Don't really know about the shipping costs to the US.

They are also on ebay :

Take care

So from the ebay pix it looks like they cover the inside part of the gauge not the outside? Very cool

I ordered from their website using google to translate for me. Payment via paypal. Here's the google link

http://www.google.com/language_tools

You can try babelfish also for translation. Seems, like the Ebay.de route would be easiest.

Scott,

You're right, they just cover the inside of the gauge. I think that's why it doesn't look too bling. Hmmm, damn you guys. Might have to sport for some.

Very attractive by being just on the inside. Understated and clean.
