160k, just changed clutch, 1 quart every 5-10K. change oil every 15-17k. Runs perfect, changed alternator at about 145K, wiring harness at 80k . Other than tune up stuff nothing has been replaced.

Early oil consumption seems to be about 1400 miles/quart but the car only did about 1000 miles in the year before I got it so I don't know how much of that consumption is actually the burning off of moisture or fuel in the oil.

Oh yeah, easily kept pace with a reasonably well and aggressively driven E46 M3 through the twisty ramps getting on the freeway today.
with nearly 100k, those are excellent leakdown numbers! right in line with what bruce states about "good running, well maintained porshce engines." btw, is that a child seat i see peeking up in the rear?...if so, which one are you using?

Actually, the picture credit should go to the PO and that is his carseat in the picture (type unknown). I do put two car seats in the back though. I am using the Britax Parkway booster seats and they work pretty well. They fit snugly in the seat and don't move around or sacrifice belt position, but they are a bit wide in the rear so the base does not slide completely back in the seat. This results in a loss of rear legroom of about 1-2". My kids don't mind because they LOVE this car.

13K on my '97 C4S...I'm sure I don't win the highest mileage contest...
I just bought though...and I'm sure it'll be 40k before you know it!

I have no interest in spending money slated for a new suspension to fix that dumb light.

I was having some mysterious knocks as well, bust mostly I figured that as I was going to keep the car that it was never going to get cheaper to have the work done. It was done by Rennsport/Rothsport in portland. I had a bunch of other small things cleaned up there as well the top-end portion cost what most do (5-6Kish), I replaced any small items that were original and hard to get at with the engin e in the car, upgraded to the LWF/RS clutch and had the brain zapped. It's a new car and I am sure I will get 200K+ with only oil changes now...

54k 1995 c2-fresh clutch-last year-still worked just wanted a fresh after over 11 years-brakes work great
had valves redone last year with total overhaul guides ect..-i brought the car from the big island of hawaii
seven years ago-because it is a daily driver i don't always get to go as far in it-compared to Hawaii where you could hit top speed on the way yo the market-(plus police have to leave on their blue light day or night)very easy to spot from a long way off-because of the difference in driving -last year it started to leak oil-lesson drive them longer and they will last longer-city computes are death to a 993
now i go out of my way to over warm up-cheers

Default Barely Broken In

Very strong, surefooted and barely broken in at 61K with literally no problems worth mentioning to date. The climate helps keep this car in mint condition but adhering to factory service recommendations and intervals just as important IMO.

......I have a collection of windshield notes asking to buy the car. I can't imagine that ever happening.

Jordan, I have to admit I don't like white cars in general and 911's in particular....but for some reason your car is simply stunning! When I look at it I just say "Wow!"

Default 136k on a '993 targa

Original owner, no leaks, original clutch, been to streets of willow a few times. And sorry tell you guys, but I change the oil every 30,-35,000 miles weather it needs or not. In one case I went 43k between changes, burns a quart about every 12-14 tanks of fuel.

84,500 on mine (5000 last year), w/ no leaks (any more), no major issues and it is still on the original clutch!
