Converting a C4S to two wheel drive...

It's your car, but in my "don't mess with it" oriented opinion, it's a waste of money to achieve a minimal difference, if any, in the real world...and not necessarily a positive difference. Maybe a good mod for bench racing, maybe even a good mod under certain track conditions, but again, in the real world of street driving that you do are you really going to feel a difference for the expense and destroying the marketability of your car unless you spend again and put it all back...I doubt it, but hey, that's just me. I hope whatever direction you choose brings you satisfaction and fun. That is what this hobby is all about.

By the way, I got your package Jean-Pierre (arrived yesterday). I owe you big-time. Tell me what I can send you from sunny, warm Canada.

Reference the care package... no sweat... I'll take a rain check. Cheers,

Bad memory disclaimer, but IIRC, there was a lawsuit way back when where somebody with a new 930 let a female colleague drive it at lunch. They managed to kill themselves doing 60 in a 25 and, of course, the estates sued Porsche for building a defective product and not warning them that a car that looks like a Porsche Turbo goes really fast really quickly, or something like that. [For crying out loud, it's not a Taurus, the whole car is a warning]. I think there were some internal Porsche documents about the "poisonous" handling characteristics of the 930 when that single turbo kicked in. After that, we got the TT with AWD. Maybe one of the lawyers in the crowd remembers this?

Thanks for all the comments. Decided not to go for it. My enthusiasm carried me away, but thinking things over, I will not do it.
Monique,
Yes, I know, but I have gotten to the stage, where looks are just as important as light weight and performance. IMHO, the widebody with no spoiler is more aesthecially pleasing, so I will stick with it.
