I feel the 19's look great, provided they tuck-in nicely, in other words, with low ride heights. Otherwise they tend to look as though the car is sitting on top of the wheels, not necessarily 'wearing' them, so to speak.
I do like the 'BBS' style, however

Thanks for the input-I admit, I am kind of liking the look, realizing this goes against everything I have appreciated with my hollow spokes, the correct spec and wieght savings. I've had this car for four years so right now, I'm diggin the change for change sake-like having a "make over". Don't know how long I'm going to keep them. Ride quality is really not affected but you can tell that these wheels are heavier.

I really like the black twists. In fact, my set of 996 Turbo Twists is headed for the powder coater tomorrow. I bought them already chromed, tried them for a bit, then went back to the stock 993TT wheels. Looking forward to having the 996 black wheels on. Thanks for sharing your pics.

Thanks for sharing your pics. I'd sort think the 19's look a bit big on your car -- but wheel are such a personal thing -- wide range of opinions already given to you here. I'm sure you'll end up with what makes you most happy.

Before I read anyone else's post, my thought was that these 19" wheels don't look quite right. Like the crisply designed but over-tired Supra that Dan Gurney hawked for Toyota back in the day, the Cargraphics make the car look overshod with wheel and tire, the diameter taking away from the inherent visual beauty and balance of the 993 design. I will say that I'm drawn to the deep dish and the overall "wire wheel/mesh" design of the Cargraphic rims. And, to echo a few others here, while I've never been a fan of the turbo twists, I think they look pretty darn good with the black centers and polished rims.
I know I'm biased, and I know this is very attention-whorish of me to post this photo for the third time in, what, three weeks, but I think the 18" Fikse FM-10's look just about perfect on the 993 body. No offense intended, Franklin.

Yeah sorry Franklin, IMHO the 19's look too big for the car. Same rims I love them in 18", I just think that our 993's are not designed for 19's...

Everyone, thanks-Please don't worry about offending. The whole reason for posting was to get opinions. I admit, some of my motivation was based on the opportunity to "purchase for a price". They came with excellent rubber as well and the guy who had them even allowed me to put these on my car to try them out first-which was great. My thoughts were that if I kept them, I was going to have the wheel centers painted black.

I also would like to chime in on the twists-I personally do not like the design but apprectiate them because the y were designed for the car. I do not like asymetrical wheel designs in general. Painting the centers black, for me, hides the centers, which are the least attractive and at the same time, gives the car an old-school Porsche look (read Fuchs-style). I still wish someone would make a correctly proportioned 18" Fuchs wheel-I would snag a set instantly.
