My first Porsche
This is a thread that I was looking forward to posting ever since I discovered Rennlist...
Few weeks ago my dream of 25 years became a reality: I brought home my first Porsche. It's a 1996 C4S with two previous owners, about a hundred miles from Stuttgart. She is a polar silver, with full leather black interior and a looong list of options - Litronics, Motorsound, big ovals, Becker Traffic Pro w/ CD changer and Nokia DSP, sunroof, heated seats, aluminium C4S doorsills, etc.
The car has 55k miles and drives like a dream. Needless to say, I have been grinning ever since. I've already removed the engine tray, changed the battery, installed a new set of S-O2's, ordered Bilstein HD's from Gert, and I'm taking her to the dealer tomorrow for the annual service.
I have been lurking around the 993 board for quite a few months, pouring through the archives while searching for my car, and the knowledge I have thus acquired has been truly invaluable. Now is the time to say a big "thank you" to ALL of you, for all the precious info, tips, and advice you have unknowlingly provided. This truly is a very cool place. Special thanks to Monique and Toga for their advice early on.

I don't like it.... I don't like it at all. That polar silver is the nemesis of my artic, and IMO... better looking.
p.s. my C4S has 65K and is as good or better than a previous C4S I had at 18K miles... vintage, I think!

I was in the Czech Republic in April for my Stag Weekend. I've just managed to sober-up! Prague was a whole lot of laughs....
Saw a Murchilago and a 360 parked up for Sunday breakfast in the city. Not many P-cars though. Glad to see you're putting that right!
