Put it this way, as much as I'm intrigued by a new Porsche model, I'm glad I own a 993!!

Depending on the angle, I see Nissan and I see Honda. Specs look good but not my cup of tea.

Kind of busy looking. Doesn't have the clean lines of the 993 or 997 for that matter. Won't be running out to sell the 993, that's for sure.

Kinda reminds me of the Ferrari Scaglietti...probably b/c of the side intakes...

Heresy, I know, but I think it looks damn good.

From the rear, it reminds me of the Audi TT coupe's handsome backlight.

Default different...

I'm a bit turned off by a few of the styling cues:
  • RX 8/Viper Coupe roofline
  • Honda S2000 rear light treatment and ricer-boy air intakes

I think it's just Porsche's attempt to make the car different-looking from the Boxster and 997.

Otherwise, I like the performance numbers, mid-engine design, and hatchback.

I think it's beautiful, and exactly what Porsche needs, just at the wrong price. Sure, their pricing seems logical, but it doesn't excite me at all. $59,000 for 295 hp, 250 lb-ft tq, 0-60 in 5.1 sec. Meh.

Makes the Boxster S look pretty good, at $53,000 with 280 hp, 236 lb-ft tq, 0-60 in 5.2 sec.

My vote is "fair", it looks a little awkward, but that's just my opinion.

If they create a CS version below 60K it will be a serious track tool....I actually like it!

I agree with TheOtherEric-
a Boxster S would probably more enjoyable for a lesser price (rag top and better looks), w/similiar perf.

I love it. I really hate to say it, but it is a beautiful design. It is like an Audi TT, but much better. With a 996-type GT2 tail and a deeper front spoiler, it would be amazing.
