Max, can you lengthen the intake. It almost seems like the intake is too short vertically. Either that or it should RUF-like intakes on the rear haunches..

I like the Cayman's styling a lot; unfortunately, it doesn't have a motor.

Z06's are unbelievable all-around performers: 7:56 at the Nurburgring. The C5 Z06 is beautiful to behold, however, the new C6 euro-styling does absolutely nothing for me.

I'll wait until I see each one in person before I make any decision.

I think the Cayman looks good and, based on the way the new Boxster drives, should be even more of a blast. It is a very appealing package. The problem is you'll get killed financially if you buy one brand new. Buy right pre-owned and you can get out right like with a 993. Buy new and you loose. Doesn't matter to some but does to me. The other thing is it's not the Porsche icon, the 911, like the 993 is. That could make a difference in how the market in general perceives it, especially as a used car once the initial hoopla wears off.

If you buy to keep a long time, perhaps then it's a good choice. That's always my intent when I buy a car -- long-term keeper -- but then a year or so later something else gets me all excited and I wind up selling, so I have learned my lesson. Maybe some day I'll own a pre-owned Cayman.
