Very nice. Your first Porsche is one of the all time best! Congratulations. Like the color combination too!

Nice C4S (whoops C2S, big reds fooled me), and a big welcome to the ranks. For what it's worth my opinion is you will probably be happy with your purchase. Call me crazy but that's my guess.

Are the mirrors a different colour? I saw a Vesuvius C2S in Vancouver and the mirrors were painted a dark metallic grey, the colour might have been "titanium".

You should be happy with that one for quite a while! The 2S is a great car.

Have fun!

Going to the festival of speed by any chance?

Yes the mirrors, door handles and the rear spoiler grill are painted steel grey. All Vesuvius cars came that way.

Kris, most LHD's in the UK tend to come from Germany, much bigger choice in one place and the prices tend to be lower too.

Toga, I go to Goowood most years but will be away that weekend. Walter Rohrl is meant to be piloting a 911SC Safari in a rally stage! Wonder if there will be a Porsche is the Supercars display this year.

Great colour. If you get a chance, you should post a close up of the mirror, door handles and the rear spoiler grill.

I didn't notice the door handles and spoiler grill being different on the one I saw. Having said that, it was inside at a dealer showroom.

Great car. Vesuvio is the only colour that has different mirrors, door handles and spoiler grills. Quite a collector's item!

Enjoy.

993 colo(u)r poll from "the search"
I only noticed one Vesuvio Metallic in a separate post, maybe in Arizona.
Beautiful color and tastefully done.

Wow...awesome color. Very distinctive and interesting. I have never seen one in that color and I doubt you will either. Hang onto her and take care of her! Helluva first Porsche to have--congrats!

Nice car nonetheless.

My fault... wanted to see if someone knew the # of cars in this color that came to the states... ...I lost mine to a car jacker and would like to find another one in the near future...

Until then I search and collect all photos of other owners around the world with a similar car... ...and I also found a 1:43 while visiting the Brumos Porsche dealer..
