Default How many miles do you drive your 993 each year?

I'm surprised to see how low the mileage of the cars is on the poll posted by JKuniverse.

It's not for lack of wanting to. When we had our baby last year I barely used my car while I waited for her to grow big enough to use my car seat. Now that she fits we are using a it a lot more. If you commute to work by train that really cuts down on the mileage. I try to run the car at least twice a week even if I don't have anywhere to go...

Cheers,

David

Since my work commute is walking from upstairs to downstairs, it really limits my total car mileage. I drive my 993 any day that it isn't raining or snowing, and occassionally when it is raining. I just don't have anywhere to go,

My traveling for work limits my time with the 993, despite still managing to drive 25K miles/year on our daily drivers..

Like Daniel, my commute to work is from my house to my home office in the garage.

I have the same commute. Haven't had my car a year yet, but it will likely fall into the 3000-4500 range this year. Even that many miles are difficult to put on with no commute and two small kids. I try my best though.
Lots of weeknight rides to nowhere after the kids are in bed.

I have the same commute as Daniel, Rich and Ray. But I try to drive my p-car as often as can depending on the weather, so in 2 yrs I put 14,000K. I don't know where I drove my car but I try to take it out once or twice a week for a couple hrs. either to the golf course or hoop courts. I never do the grocery run.

Wow - My category (4.5k-9k) is the smallest and I assumed it'd be the most common...

My commute is up a flight of stairs as well. It's great put the top down and take the long route to Starbucks after lunch for a cup of coffee though.

I really envy you guys with just a few meters to walk to your job! I drive 600km(+-400mi) up and down from home to my home base airport. Normally I do that once a week, but sometimes I have to do it twice. This makes around 27000mi per year. As the french are trigger happy with their laser goggles, I never commute with my Porsche, there is no fun in cruising at 65mi/hr. I ride my 911 around 4500mi/year. But here we are talking about "pleasure driving"!

Unfortunately, I don't have the upstairs/downstairs commute any longer and have a daily drive of 75mi. round trip in my 993. The days like earlier this week when the traffic is light and the sun is shining, makes for a very enjoyable drive.

I have a round trip commute of 50 miles which I use the 993 maybe twice a week. Also a few longer pleasure rides of 400 to 1200 miles. I love to drive the car, however many years from now I my regret putting so many on. For now, drive it like you love it....
