Default Spoiler wall decal update

Some of you will remember a post I made last week about locating a decal for the spoiler wall. Several board members I believe subsequently ordered from porschedecals.com. Well I received my decal last night and it is pretty much identical to those that many others including myself purchased last year from viagraphix. So if any of you were waiting to see if they turned out as good, I would say they are almost identical. Have asked Paul at http://www.porschedecals.com/ to become a sponsor. Mick

Mick -

Thanks for the update. I also ordered a few of these, and have been wondering how they will look and when they will arrive. Great news!

Scott, just so you know I had a little trouble getting the decal to adhere correctly. I then took a hair dryer to it and that seemed to do the trick. Have only driven once since applied but so far so good. Hope yours turned out like you expected.

Thanks Dan. Mick

Dan. Mick -

Thanks for the input -- I've been pretty busy this weekend and did not get a chance to get to the decal. I'll snag my wife's hair dryer in case I need it -- NOTE TO SELF: wash any dirt/grease off hands first -- or may be on the couch for a few days.

I just installed my decal today and it went on without a hitch ... I followed the dry mount instructions to the letter, and just in case, I used the hair dryer on it and really pressed it on ... I wonder how the adhesion will hold up given the horizontal grooves in the spoiler wall, and given the hot environment in which it will be sitting (and hopefully sticking).

Brand new in white and on my GP White car, it looks spectacular - a very nice cosmetic piece for the money.

Anybody got photos of what these decals look like after some time has passed, or when new?

The photo below is what the original Vigraphix spoiler wall decals looked like. I have two of them in silver and would be willing to sell them for $20 each plus shipping.

I think they look just stunning on the spoiler.
