As a racer, I will miss the knowledge of these 3 on the racing boards. As I too dont come over here very often as there is not much to interest me but do try and help when I see a topic that I can add some value. I wont leave Rennlist as there is so much to learn from the racing board and the 944/951 boards (not quite as up to speed on my water pumper as I was on the 993). If this is indeed goodbye, then it was a pleasure knowing you guys, you were helpful, amusing and a asset to Rennlist. Best of luck!
Ditto what Eric said (except that 944/water part, have no clue about that, water..? ).

Personally, I will miss DJ's contributions here. He's been absolutely invaluable to me w/ helping me get my C4S setup for the track. Luckily, I can still keep in contact with him, but others here will not get his terrific & valid advice.

I must have missed a whole lot in the last couple of days. I think some people are taking this board WAY too seriously. It is supposed to be a fun source of information about Porsches. The camaraderie here is great.

Threats and personal vandettas have no place in this environment.

I for one am glad that John D. has taken the moral higher ground and stayed clear of all the ugliness.

Joanne, very well said.

Yep, well said Joanne. Although spankings may be appropriate as well. A round of spankings for all, just to be sure you get everybody!

Tom, I know the feeling. I've taken the last few days off and coming back to Rennlist I'm totally lost. I think I'll stand clear of it, whatever "it" is.

These public farewells are lame. Changing your password and emails to force oneself to not be able to post? How dramatic! If you drama queens do hara-kiri, do it without all the crying and shouting.

Spot on Ben. Such an act is to done, with honor, with silence. An unconditional sacrifice without personal benefit. May their souls now arrive at greener pastures and may the silliness stop for good. I for one want to get back to Porsches!

I won't even pretend to understand what the hell is going on here. I've owned various 911's for almost a decade now and have heard in the past about the 'attitudes' on the Rennlist 993 board. Why on earth this board seems to have singled itself out I have no idea. I will say I've only owned the 993 for a year; I am new here, but I'm not new to Porsche forums. In the past year I've sensed the tension, and attributed it to the typical "ego to rational" ratio commonly found among your average 993 owner.

Try not to take erach other too damn seriously!
Love you guys,

Adrienne, are you including yourself in the round of spanking?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

To get so upset about this, means that you are insecure or do not have a REAL LIFE, I am a new member and Viken was a straight shooter, the rest I cant comment on as I have no use for EGOs.
I joined for the knowledge and you guys have helped me when I needed it. I enjoy my car and want nothing to do with all the bull****, that some people who own one feel the have the right to put out.............
