Talking Car on rails....

I have had a few Rennlisters in my car at the track Greg., including Viper Bob, the rails do get a little squirrelly now and then. I do push the car pretty hard within the limits of my meager talents.

Thanks Greg, i really wanted the Hoosiers for the Sebring race but I held up because of the wear problems... In retrospect i should have gotten them..Looking at my video I was faster than a lot of cars on the fast turns and they were pulling away from me at the slow stuff... I would have been much faster and probably not involved in the accident
would have should have...Oh well! I know I should listen to you guys

Hi Danny,
have tried 245's up front to help combat the understeer?

No Alex, I have been running MPSC's for the past 3 years and the max front I have had on was 225's. I'm sure with the 245 front 285 rear my car will handle much better at turn in. Unfortunately last year the S04's had so many problems with the rears so I stayed away from them. Otherwise I would have been running on these sizes Hoosiers since last year.

Danny,
Michelin has 235's in the MPSCs same size as the GT3 uses. If/when you change to the Hoosier you may want to go with the 275 rear tire vs the 285. They only tire I have had (Hoosier) that has not done well for me was the 285.

I have the TRG bars with the Moton Club Sport suspension and have not had any understeer issues nor have I run out of adjustment on the front bar. I do like to have the car set up with a bit of understeer.

In addition to the recommendation by other Rennlisters to go to 245/285 combo, I looked at it rather simply: what is the closest I can get to the RS ratio of 15% differential fron to back (225/265 combo). The 225/285 combo give front to back differential of around 21%. 245/285 brings it back down to around 14% (if my back of the envelope math is correct).
I think Greg has it - a 235/275 combo should work just as well.
