I brought my car into the dealer today. Although the Service Manager was not convinced that the damage was caused by his people; he reluctantly agreed to have his body shop make the repair. Whatever.
Here is a picture of the damage. Circled in red.

It would not have been a big deal but it happened after a long winter and I had just gotten everything just right. I suppose it is a price we pay for Euro Height.

What a shame, the car was perfect last weekend at the ramble.
I have found over the years that my cars have incurred the most damage while "at the shop", whether it was a dealer or independant. The key is to find a dealer or independant that is very careful. I have had numerous services since my '97 993 at Chambers in Boston, without incident. The car is always returned without a mark... after this endorsement, I hope it wasn't chambers
You could also depend on Bob Fitzgerald, but he closed his shop and moved to the cape to teach auto mechanics.
By the looks of it, I think it will be an easy fix. Still a pain to deal with, though. Good luck and get ready for Hershey.
