Too dark Eric, I like your car too and the reflection is a nice touch. Here it is with the background blacked out, looks a bit better that way.

Oh by the way, that's your tail in my avatar.

Where did you get that RENNLIST decal? I would love to get one as well...Gosh...in last two and half years I spent more time on rennlist.com than with my family!

Click on the Rennlist link at the top right of this page. When the page loads click on decals from the menu selection on the left of the page.
Fred will fill you in one the Malibu routes inasmuch as he is the official HWFMR tour guide. I would never step on his toes.

The 10" Bazooka's are 24" long, did you have to cut it down in lenght to fit it? Do you have a larger and clearer picture? I would love to see more detail. I think is it a great idea, the way you installed it. I have seen thenm behind the seats, but you have to cut them down in lenght and you have to use a 8 or 6"... they are only 18" long, but you still have to cut them down.

Hi Delanobe,

very nice car. Now that I see you're the Meguiar's specialist... When you have spare time, feel free to come, I'll have some work for you

I see that you don't have the plastic protections on your rear fenders. Don't you intend to replace it? Looking at mines, I think they are usefull to protect the painting at that well expose place, and cheaper to replace than a respray.

Hi Toga,

Hope you and the car of course are ok? How is the car driving by the way? No suprises after all the work you have done?
Maybe we could organise a Meguiare's day or something with some beers and snacks

Ciao

The LWF is a mod I love!
The Meguiare's day is a great idea. This month I have week ends "off" on the 23-24 and 30 (and probably 1st of may too). Would one of those be ok for you and Monique? My place is your place if you like! Beers already in the fridge! Monique you check with Nigel too?

Default Update after 2 weeks listening of the new audio system

So after 2 weeks of listening to the new audio system I wasn't 100% satisfied (guess I'm **** or something because everybody thinks I'm loosing it, first all the mods on the car and now the slippery slope of audio )

Today I went back to the shop and said I wasn't 100% satisfied with the set up.
The guy of the shop listened and asked what my problem was because for him it was ok but if I really wasn't satified he would call a specialist (a real audiophile, whatever that means ) .
After 10 min this guy entered the shop and listened to the set up in my car. After 1 min he stepped out the car and said that he knew what I meant.
So far so good and no $ out of my pocket.
The problem he said is your head unit, if you want better sound you must upgrade to a high end unit.
I had bought a Kenwood KDC 7024 for 400€ a year ago and thought that that was a real good radio?
Apparently all brands have a unique sound? The way to go is buy ALPINE, this is the best you can get with the best sound.

So I did and what a unbelievable difference!!!

all head units will sound slightly different, at car audio competitions, you will see more Alpine head units than any other make..

Audiophile person, is a purest when it comes too sound quality, staging, setting up crossovers etc.

Am I too late for the Meguiar's happening? Eagle on the 964 forum is also a fierce adept. Autostop in Leuven has a nice but not complete range of Meguiar's products .
