A Play Date with a Gorgeous 993 C2S
It was a beautiful morning here in So. Cal today. After almost 36" of rain so far for the season... today was much needed. A good friend and another RLer (phatbut) came out for a visit and our 993s had a play date. Mine is a Polar Silver993TT and his is a 98 Artic Silver C2S. I took some pics of both cars together and thought I'd share these timeless beauties with you guys. This is the first time that I've ever seen both of the Silvers side by side.... very interesting.
Have a great weekend and we'll see some of the So. Cal RLer this weekend for a fun run.
Cheers

Kelly,
I was very surprise to the differences of the two silver. Also the front shot is a great comparison from the Euro bumper and the U.S. Bumper (on my car ). Did you noticed how green the mountains are in the background? Almost look like your paradise..

Its funny and off topic but it wasn't until a few years back that I realized the mirrors are installed at different mounting points (left vs right)... I know... stupid... but I had to look at several cars to make sure it was not a screw up of the previous owner...
BTW, great looking cars!!!

Nice shots ... glad you guys got the rain this year ... that's meant more dry days for us up here in Oregon. I for one am not one to be daunted by the rain ... If I was, mine would be a garage queen.

Tony -
Great looking pics and cars. I like the second one comparing the two types of wheels. Are those standard 996TT hollow spokes on your car? I haven't seen any up close, but I thought they tuck under the fender more. Any rubbing issues?

Tony absolutely beautiful photos! Wish mine were in one piece.....
Those 11" rears do stick out a little, I never noticed that on mine. Hard to tell form this attached pic, I'll have to go look at that now....
Is that Euro front cover the same as this Turbo S cover that I just ordered? (Pic's not my car).

Perhaps if you decide to go with a Euro Bumper, I may be willing to take yours off your hands, seeing I have a Polar Silver C2...
BTW, Great Pics and I'm envious of you guys getting to drive your cars...Haven't driven mine for 5 months and it looks like it's gonna be another month before I can...Snowed again here a couple days ago...

Ben,
I really like the profile of your car. What's the ride height?
