Hmmm,

Just to add my $0.00000002c worth...

Sway bars are really there to compensate for poorly matched (or soft) springs. Sway bars allow the use of compliant (soft springs) for comfort and yet allow flat cornering - essentially giving the best of both worlds.....

Now - dont get me wrong - sway bars are a GREAT fine tuning device - for those that KNOW what they are doing.... however the MOST important thing is correctly matched springs and shock valving - as even soft springs and mis-matched shocks can feel harsh...

BTW - I use the JIC's on my turbo - with drilled stock rear bar - and still have a way to go before i will consdier upgraded bars... but my springs are .... hmm stiff?

Best,

Simon.

+1 on SImon's comments.

For a street-driven car, I recommend against "upgrading" sway bars. But for a track toy, TRG's monster bars are nice. I'm honestly starting to think, though, that I'd like my car with slightly smaller sway bars so it doesn't corner soooo flat. Track an Elise and you'll see what I mean.
