Default leather interior

I will soon be embarking on changing portions of my Cashmere interior to black. My car has the basic interior with a black dash, headliner and rear shelf.

Does anyone know where I can find black LEATHER, (not leatherette), rear seats and door panels?.

I won't change everything as I think the 'combo" color look is nice. The carpet and maybe center console will remain Cashmere.

Please don't flame me, I've done a search and found alot of info about leather care but didn't see any recommendations about leather interior part sourcing.

TIA

Mike

Mike,

In the most recent issue of Panorama, I believe there is a set of black leather rear seats/panels off of a 993TT in the classified section.

Let me know if you don't have the mag and I can check at home later today.

My interior used to be mostly cashmere...purchased 1/2 a hide (that's 1/2 of a whole cow) of black leather from Veteran Company. Leather color and texture matched that of the factory vinyl dash etc. DIY'd the door inserts, center console and bin doors on the RSD and still have lots left over..

I'm not a big cashmere fan, but it looks really good when it's broken up with some black. Very nice contrast.

And I LOVE those seats and that shifter is on my list of mods, very pricey tho!

Nice interior David.
I'm curious: what is the black box left of the passenger foot well?

VW Passat cupholder (search the old threads). Yeah, I know it's a sportscar but I still need a place to put my Starbucks.

Mmm well it looks ok!

I can imagine hot coffee on my trooper's feet the day I would "forget" it's there and a Subaru driver would look at me badly at a traffic light
