Speaking of RPM - Riviera Blue

If I was looking for a car right now, this would be very tempting for me. I know the color is weird to some but I love Riviera blue. I bought my car from Ray. His cars are very nice. He has quite a 'showroom.' I spent hours there before finally leaving for the drive back to Memphis.
I think that is a good looking car. I can't tell if that is the aerokit1 front spoiler set up. Something looks different.
I like the color a lot.

You can see the window sticker on Ray's website, though no photos (yet). Apparently, the grill and splitters were added later. The sticker also does not mention the blue seatbelts, which were probably added later too. Interestingly, it says "wheels painted body color" but you can't quite tell from the one photo in the Auto Trader ad whether they are still on there.
I think this car might belonged to a Rennlister, "Only1Buck" as it appears to be pictured on this thread (page 2):

If it is the same car, it's apparently the old-style sport seats, not the hard back ones. A $314 option at the time. Of course, Porsche may have made more than one with Riviera blue wheels.
Does anyone remember the Riviera blue cab Brian Buxton had for a while? Everything was festooned in Riviera blue ... the gauge surrounds, shifter leather, handbrake, seat piping, piping on the floormats ... holy s---.

You are correct that was mine...added after were the belts, split grill it also has a factory short shift...I swapped it plus for a 97 C4S in Turquoise Blue with pics will be up in about 2 weeks...sport seats are the old style soft back as it is a very early build for model year 95

Its funny, as a rule i only like metallic colors and i insisted on silver for both my c2 and my TT. Was there a metallic equivalent of riveria blue?
BUT, i think riveria blue is so cool .. especially as the cars get older. Perhaps not good for a TT- which should be more 'serious' , but i would love a riveria blue cab as a second 993. The car just looks so 'happy' and while not your ideal track car, it would be great in a warm climate.
I do remember the Baccardi 993 and i think that would be an ideal cab.
Just think when you see 911's from the 70s or 80s - the more bold colors, or louder interior colors (red, wine, etc) - always catch your eye first. A silver/black 1982 911 sorta seems boring compared to a more unique color.
That said, my TT is polarsilver/black.

Where the heck do you find those seats? They are awesome looking and probably feel equally exciting.

Riviera93...I am shifting my blues when the opportunity presented itself for the Turquiose Blue C4S it certainly appealed. The shade is somewhat darker then the Riviera Blue...
Nota Troll...it is the same car as in the links you posted and it is the old style sport seats...the car was very early in the build cycle and Porsche sort of cleans out the parts bin that is how they ended up in the car...
