Any updates on the new Supercup? Did anyone get a set? Any pics out there?

Thanks...

Damn right. I had taken my Supercups off to clean them and found a crack on the back side of one of the spokes. I used that as the opportunity to move up to the 2002 Carrera five spokes. Now those are nice wheels!

BTW - Mine set is overdue by about 3 weeks now. I will post pics of the real thing when they come in.

Those look really tempting! Is that a hidden valve stem?!?

Spoke to the folks at Kinesis today and unfortunately I think you have a little while yet to wait. They told me that they are still in the prototype stage and it will be a couple of months yet before we see a finished product.

I'm REALLY liking the way they look though and may have to make a move on a set.

Keep us posted.

Any update on the 2R's yet? Has anyone taken delivery? Pics?

Unfortunately the last word I received back in July was that they were having problems and that the date was pushed back again.

My vendor has an email out to Alan at Kinesis right now to find the latest.

I will send out an update as soon as I hear something.

Talking Dispell a myth...........forged wil...

crack. I have a 8" X 16" Fuchs wheel, not a reproduction wheerl, that cracked a wee bit, BUT, it did come apart of shatter. I had a sagittal cut made splitting the wheel down the center....and now the wheel is a very expensive and heavy wall clock. It cost me about $500 for a replacement wheel...no bargains when you buy them one at a time.
