Black wheels on a yellow car
I am thinking about getting some 10 spoke GT3 wheels that are powder coated black with a polished lip I am wondering if there is anyone out there with a yellow car with black wheels that would post a picture so I can get an idea of what it is going to look like. My car is pastel yellow but I would like to see speed yellow also.
Any comments on what you think about this combination would be appreciated.
Thanks
Randy

While not black, I did have these wheels repainted to a dark grey. It is a metalic paint, so they do appear lighter than they really are.

Randy and Randy starting black wheel treads back to back? WUWT?
Anyone know how to combine threads.?
Are you my long lost twin? Or is it just that great minds think alike?

Chris, what color are your wheels? They look great.

The color I ended-up with is some GM interior spec'd paint. Grey with metalic and some pearl. Really a neat color to see in person as I have not been able to capture its true color on film. Thanks for the compliments, all!

Opinion here.
Black will look gorgeous on your yellow car. Nice to see fellow owners who like colours... other than the mortuary ones
However, I think the GT3 wheel is too fussy. perhaps some 5 spoke 18 inchers?? IMO.

Chris,
I've said this before, but your car looks absolutely awesome!!
Hi Randy!
I, too, think that 10-spokes look a bit busy, not "bad" ...just prefer the cleaner lines of a 5-spoker, but that's me.
I also love the look of dark gray or silver-ish rims on yellow as opposed to stark-black rims. And on your pale yellow, I think that a something "less deep" than full black would look better ...somehow it just looks more "proper" for a sports car that lives on the street. Though for a full-tilt track car, black always looks really purposeful and menacing.
