Default Rear Spoiler Wall Logo

I've seen some past threads on buying a Porsche logo for the rear spoiler wall. Evidently they were sourced out of Europe. Does anyone have recent experience with buying these? If so, could you tell me where and how much?

Thanks.

Now-defunct Vigraphix.com used to have them. You might want to go to a local sign shop with some camera-ready art and have them make up one in RTA (ready-to-apply) sign vinyl.

If you are talking about the logo with PORSCHE spelledout I purchased mine through vigraphix.com. someone on the board had used them and was good enough to share the link. I tried to attach the link but it says their domain name has expired. Not sure what that means but you might try back later. As I recall however they had quit selling the size that in my opinion fit best on the spoiler wall. I think they were concerned about copyright infringement or something along those lines. The decal was really quite simple. I'm sure if you just took the measurements you need to a local graphics shop they could duplicate it for you. If you'd like a picture as a reference let me know and I will send you one.

Mark, Mick,

Thank you both for your replies. I followed the past posts and really like the look. I too tried the link to Vigrafix with the same results.

I think that on things like this, it's important to have a correct looking font. If I did as you suggest, Mark, what font would I use to look right?

Thanks again.

Scott,

I doubt if any sign shop will have that font. The best thing to do is to maybe bring in your owners manual to the signn shop and have the PORSCHE letters scanned in. FYI, on my sticker, the letters are 28" long x 1.5" tall.

Good luck!

I started a discussion about this same question back in October, and learned that a fellow named David Cysatus <cysatus@hotmail.com> was willing to make some, since he sold some other Porsche logos on Ebay. Well, to make a long story short, he sent me a freebie on the condition that I take some Ebay-ready pics for him. I didn't like it, so I removed it immediately, and I don't know if he ever decided to try to sell them. Here's a pic of the his decal installed, and a pic of the much better viagraphix version I had previously purchased. Funny how a mis-proportioned height turns it from cool to cheesy. Perhaps he fixed the height, in which case I'd like to buy one.

Also, I used to have the PORSCHE tif electronic font file but I lost it. I'm sure somebody can send it to you. With the font file, anybody can print anything in the correct PORSCHE font.

Eric,

Excellent display of the importance of the font. If someone will provide me with the font .tif file, I'll see about getting some made.

HELP!

There's a Porsche font available from rennlist here:

https://rennlist.com/font/

Might work when enlarged?

Cool, somebody beat me to it. You can also download the font from my server at:
http://home.comcast.net/~dirtybeigec...ff/porsche.ttf

Simply copy it to your Windows/fonts directory.

Thanks Dan 96C2 St. Louis for emailing me the file!

Or you can try this company

www.porschedecals.com

I think that they are based in Malta. I've placed one order with them which arrived within a few days.

I've got no affiliation etc, just a recomendation.
