Hey man!! I drove it all day today.
I drove it to work and to dinner with the wife (she drove it home since I drank wine, and damn you should have seen the DEVILISH GRIN on her face). Her comment upon arriving home was, "Yes it is better than the old one and yes you can keep it as long as you let me drive it often". She is actually very good at driving 993's so I am good with it, espcially if she gets into it.
Have a good one! I am going on a ride with a few of my Porsche friends tomorrow I think. I 'll let you know how it turns out. Talk to you soon.

Yessir, that's my baby!! You know, from the angle of that picture it looks like my third brake light in the top of the rear window is actually about a foot tall rear wing or something!!! It is someone else's hood behind the car, but the paint matches and it looks pretty funny to me. :-)
Thanks for the kind words. The last owner took impeccable car of the car and I am the fortunate recipient of it. To show my gratitude, I spent about ten hours on her last Saturday and the car looks even better now if you can believe that! Anyway, I find myself going to the garage at midnight and just staring at it for a minute or two for no reason. You gotta love it!

Thank you Dennis! I am loving it without a doubt, and will do my best to enjoy it.
The funny thing is....I find it harder and harder to find a road long enough to enjoy it's power. With the NA engine in my 1996 993 cab, the power was there at all times so you could run up from 2,000 to 5-7,000 rpms and feel all of it. With the TT, the power is so much more, but you really get pushed into your seat above about 4,000 rpms, and once you get there you're going so damn fast you have to be careful!!!
I have only had the car for a few weeks, so I will get my chances when the weather is more agreeable.

Yours looks quite acceptable, really. Okay, I just looked up at it and something came to me. I was reading an article on MSN today about Edvard Munch's renowned painting, the Scream. About how the inspiration for that painting was his witness to a sky that had turned "blood red". There is also a debate as to whether he is screaming or listening to a scream... possibly of nature. He has successfully painted sound some say. Stay tuned.

Wow ....
Wow that "is" a beautiful car. I think it's the one we dreamed of when we were kids isn't it?
Congrats man, I bet you are excited about that one being in YOUR garage.
