Default Flat Olive Drab 993 Twin Turbo

Spotted this in Berlin last week- My favorite color to date- The car was all matte, no shine, no gloss- very "Militech" -Flat black rims- Munich plates- looked as if she was in the snow for a while-

Very cool. If I recall, there was a Ruf painted a similar color that was featured in a lot of the magazines back in the late 80's. I thought it was cool then, too.

Very unique, but I think cars should be shiny!

It is probably not paint but the same kind of foil most German taxis have on them. There is a flat black 996GT3 often visiting the Nürburgring with that kind of foil.

It keeps the paint looking like new under there once you are selling the car you jus ttake the foil off and there won't be a single stone chip in the paint.

I am pretty sure that they get brown/golden when seeing heat.

foil? if that's the case it would be fun to try different colors on our cars. a matte gray or the green there is really cool. what does an application like that cost???
