I bought mine at the last Ventura Porsche show and think it is the coolest jacket out there. The only problem is that mine was made in Switzerland or Sweden (I forget where the guy said) and the zipper pulls up on the left and not the right. I usually leave it open anyways.
Sad to say I won’t be the coolest looking guy anymore but I do recommend the look.

I too responded on the PP yesterday and will purchase one. LeMans was my all time favorite movie, so it is appropriate. The jacket will go well witht the 917 (model) in my office

Thanks for putting this sweet deal together.

I couldn't decide between cotton (which would get dirty) and leather (which is expensive) so I got both.

Payment? I seem to be having trouble figuring out the order/payment scheme. A little help here, please.

No international shipping they say in the last link!

Shouldn't we try a European order? The original site for those jackets is german, but last time I tried it it, the link was not working.

First go to the site (http://www.dakota-industry.com/index-main.htm) and figure out which jacket you want (leather, cotton, etc). Take the advertised price, reduce it by 50%, then add $20 for shipping. This is your total. Then go to paypal.com, and select the payee as "dane174@attbi.com". This is the person collecting the funds for the jackets. Pay him the exact amount calculated via paypal. Make sure to mention that it is the Pelican Parts special, indicate size, shipping address, etc.

Thanks Jon or is that Sully.
I did work out the small details. Finally. I think I'm number 47. Just made it.

What size did you order?
