I was going to buy these wheels off one of my buddies here at work but I have one question, will these wheels work on a 1997 narrow body C2?

According to Gert's site they do. If Viken or Gert are around they could confirm.
Newbie question-
Are you using spacers to fill in the wheel wells or is it really a performance inhancing issue to get the wider track?

When would one know if changing wheels when a spacer is warranted?

Thanks.

Without the spacers the wheel/tire would not be flush with the fender !EDIT: On a wide body car like a 2S,4S, or TT EDIT - can't speak to the performance issue but Pontiac says "wider is better" so it must be true

QUOTE] Like minds...my wheels arrive on Monday. I'll have to post a pic later in the week. I like the way the wheels give the brakes some breathing room.
[

Martin,

Where are your pictures?

I have a Glacier White 993 and like what you did to your car. Could you tell me what you did to your car and where you got the work done? I would like to do similar things but not all

Olav

I have to say I don't think I have seen a set of wheels that suit the 993 better. I agree with the comment that don't suit the 996 half as well.

I have to chime in with the rest. I never even thought about these wheels, because I'm not crazy about the look on 996's. On the 993 they look terrific.

Looks like you've solved my rim quest for non-track days.

I just installed these wheels...I didn't use spacers. I'll post a pic when the holiday sorts itself out, well maybe next week. This weekend we are driving Willow Springs International Raceway with the Porsche Owners Club. I'll be out there with my new Michelin Pilot Sport Cups, and some more aggressive alignment.

And here is how the MY2002 wheels look on a white car. Send me a private e-mail if you want to know where to get the wheels at a good price.
