Question Ventil Sauber & Jectron Question

Can these two product by Lubro Moly be used in the same tank of fuel? Or should you run one tank with one and then the put the other one in a second tank of fuel.

Ventil Sauber is to clean the valves and Jectron is a fuel injection cleaner.

This may be a question for Steve.

Ron,

I'm no expert, but I have routinely used these two products together for two years, with no ill effects.

Anir,

How often to you use them? I presume you use them at certain mileage intervals, and that you do not change the oil afterward. Am I right? I did read some older posts on this subject and Steve W. indicated that if they were used regularly which meant at fixed intervals that oil did not need to be changed after they were used.

Ron,

I use them 3-4 times per year - more if I've been doing a lot of city driving, and less if the car has seen a lot of track time (aka "Italian tune-ups").

I change my oil about every 6 - 9 months, but don't necessarily coordinate this with the fuel treatments.

I recently ordered online Jectron and Ventil Sauber for $4 and $3 each (when buying 5 or more of each) at etyparts.com .

Hi Ron:

I use & recommend a can of each of these products 3-4 times per year, just as Anir mentioned. These perform both complimentary and overlapping roles and IMHO, do a better job than Techron.

Enjoy,....... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Do you recommend an oil change right after using them as you do when using the Techron additive?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Mark:

You can treat the fuel twice before you need to change the oil. These cars contain a great deal of that stuff so dilution is not quite the issue as a normal car which might hold 5-7 quarts.

Circumstances that would dictate an immediate oil change would be:

1) Cars that have never had these additives used before

2) Doing the Motorvac process

3) Doing a double treatment of LubroMoly products or Techron
