Guys - was out of town for several days. I emailed Gert with the proposal, but didn't hear back from him. I'll get a hold of Sunset and Suncoast tomorrow.

Anyone hear from Chris Walrod about his cf pieces?

You mean that Chris, the one who starts all kinds of projects, gets busy with work, travels, and starts yet more silly projects and rarely finishes them

I do have one side tooling coplete, just need to laminate the other. Not sure if you guys can wait as this does take some serious time and cash outlay for materials. The good news is that I do have new RS sideskirts to take the molds from.

If you guys could come up with a number of sets needed, let me know. If there is more than, say, ten sets desired, I will give it some very serious planning. I am pretty sure I can offer these for the same or less than the factory plastic skirts.

And, yes, those damn little tabs break off just looking at them. I broke two just trial fitting one side to my car last year.

I am not (yet) a Rennlist sponsor, so this one reason I have not offered these yet, officially. I dont want to jeopardize my ability to post here. Dont want to get yelled at

Guys,

Those of you who said you'd be in for group buy, which one of you would be in for Chris' C/F sideskirts (and could wait for a while) & which for OEM plastic skirts?

We need to make sure who's in for these & who for OEM. Or who's in for either one.

I'm sure we can apply some pressure to Chris if we have anough people who wants his skirts, any of you really big & scary looking?

Depending on the price I'd rather give my business to Chris

I'll go for the side skirts in CF by Chris Walrod... lighten my car some more

Chris.. tell us you'll leave them natural i.e with the weave showing through???

I'd buy from Chris if the price were good.

I like the idea of the cf rockers from Chris, but I'm not sure if the weave pattern will look good with my cab. I'll probably lean towards the Porsche piece.

First offer is from Sunset Porsche: $850 per pair plus shipping, which is a savings of $32 off their discounted price. We must have 10 buyers to participate.

I'm waiting for word from Gert to hear if he is willing to consider a discount. Will keep you all posted.

Just a suggestion... [flame_suit on]

When these group buy things start, why don't you start a poll thread? That way someone can look at the results before drowning in mutliple pages and OT comments....

[/flame_suit off]

By the way, I'm not in, but having seen Chris's workplace last weekend, then *if* he did them, they truly would be a work of beauty I'm sure...

Like I said, just a suggestion on the poll thread thing.

Clive.
