POC last weekend (HWFM Content)
I wanted to share a few pics from last weekend's POC short track series. These are of Phil's car as he quickly flattened his learning curve. The guy went from doing HWFM racing proud to possibly being kicked off the team in one day.
All in all, a pretty good event. Saturday was brutally hot. It hit about 90 degrees or so out there.
Please notice the big "thumb's up" in the first pic.

Very nice pics, Mark, and very mean and purposeful looking car, Phil. The tape on the headlights seems to have been driven right off in some shots

Phil, the car looks great.
Mark, thanks for the update. Good to know the team's antics around the country.

Damn. I forgot to mention...
Your's truly took First in Class both days. However, true to HWFM team principal, I also took Last in Class, as I was the only one out there in "LI". My best time out there was 1:19 (1:20 for the event).
Just doing my part for the team.

Mark,
There should be a special HWFM Racing award for finishing last in a group of one. A perpetual trophy, or a Denny's gift certificate or something. Anyway, my personal congratulations, and on behalf of AARP members everywhere: "SLOW DOWN, goddammit"!

Ummm...1:19...please tell me you were on R compounds. If not, you might just get your HWFM membership revoked as 1:19 is pretty darn fast, even if you finished last. Gosh, you must have had some pretty stiff competition in your class...oh, you were the competition.
Well, would both of you slow down <img border="0" alt="[ouch]" title="" src="graemlins/c.gif" />

Please don't confuse my "feat" on the Streets with my much slower times on the big track. I still want to stay a team member.
Yes, I was running MPSC's.
