Jack, you beat me to it--I recently finished reading "the Gold Plated Porsche" and thought it was a terrific book; it was great to see Steve in there as well--hopefully this gets him some more press, business, and recognition--
keep up the good work Steve and congrats!

Yep, great book, I would highly recommend it!
Yep, Steve - great guy, we've only spoken on the phone a few times. I value all his posts on the board. His assistance has always been helpful and spot on!

Steve who??? I really need to find this guy...
In all seriousness, Steve deserves the recoginition. By reviewing the posts from all the folks who are thinking him without spending a dime with him says a whole lot about who he is and what he is about!
I have worked with Steve "improving" both my 993's and he is a class act. Not only do my cars do what I want, they prove to be reliable as well. No BS...
Given the many other folks I have dealt with over the years of DIY-ing, Steve is a rarity and someone who deserves the thanks !
Cheers bud...

Hi:
Stephan's book is a great read, eh? He is a VERY interesting fellow and I got to know him during the course of his 911 project. I wish I'd done half of what he has accomplished in life.
Thanks everyone for your kind words,............I've simply tried to offer assistance where and when I've had something constructive to contribute.

Late to this party, but I'd like to offer my thanks and gratitude to Steve as well. He has helped me on numerous occasions from advice on valve noises, to "I wouldn't buy that car," to "I'll ship that part out to you and send me the check when you can." Steve's generosity is indeed magnanimous. And BTW, his comment:
..."I've simply tried to offer assistance where and when I've had something constructive to contribute."
simply underscores what a classy guy he is. In my life's experience, I've found that it is those with *True* talent that are the most humble. Thanks, Steve. You are a valuable asset to this board and to the Porsche community, at large.

Gotta agree w/ Edward here. Steve is a great guy and offers a lot of invaluable advice here on the forum. I recently bought some Schroth harnesses from him and he gave some great feedback on them. Thanks, Steve.
