Driving out from Denver to visit family and catch some tunes at Summerfest. Will be driving from Beloit to Milwaukee on Saturday - what is the apprx. time and where is lunch in Lake Geneva? Hopefully, you guys won't mind a displaced Badger along w/ his Canadian significant other.

If the Red Geranium is official.its right off Hiway 12,at the hiway 50 exit(outskirts of town)

If you want a spot convenient to the get-together, try the <a href="http://www.aramarkharrisonlodging.com/properties/lakebluff/special/" target="_blank">Harrison Manor House</a> in Lake Bluff. Unfortunately, the Deerpath Inn in Lake Forest is sold out which is a tad nicer. Did you want a spot in the City (40 minutes south)?

OK folks, as of this writing we have 16 cars <img border="0" alt="[jumper]" title="" src="graemlins/jumper.gif" /> signed up for what I am now, with perhaps unfounded optimism, calling the First Annual Chicago-Area Rennlisters Summer Gathering. Twenty is the count I have so far for lunch.

Please post here or email me by 10:00 AM tomorrow (Friday) if you would like to join us (more are welcome!), OR if you are signed up but can no longer attend. Please do the same if you are bringing anyone other than yourself (e.g., kid (s), long-suffering spouse or SO, etc.) and you have not already posted or emailed to that effect. Our host facilities for both morning and afternoon have been promised accurate head counts.

FYI our destination in Lake Geneva will be the Red Geranium restaurant, 393 N. Edwards Blvd. (Route 50 immediately west of Route 12, in a shopping center on the Northeast corner of 50 & Edwards). Thanks to Seljan for the restaurant recommendation.

See page 1 of this thread for all the details, but as you will recall, we will be meeting at <a href="http://www.willowauto.com" target="_blank">Willow Automotive</a> in Lake Bluff between 8:30 and 10:30 AM. At about 10:30 AM we will depart for our cruise to Lake Geneva.

Argh! This is very bad timing....I wish I could make it, but I have family obligations! We organized a fun run in May and got the best and the worst weather in one day! Rain, hail, snow...but it was a blast! Ed and Jeff remmeber this?:
