I like Jean's idea about making it into a 993 GT2.

Beyond removing the AWD and the bodywork, what else is involved to make it a real GT2? I assume steering rack and other things are different.

There is a bit more involved, if you want to just have the looks, it will be body kit and wheels, seats and side panels...around $20k. If you want to get serious about it, it goes from removing the sunroof, modifying the engine and the gearbox,changing suspension etc.. North of $60k easy if you want to have a solid engine. But you will end up with a better and faster car than the original street GT2.

jean, fongster-
can u give me more detail on exactly how the street gt2 is different, beyond bodywork sunroof, big wheels, etc. Is the motor a normal 430/450hp TT motor - same as a euro TT-S?.
how is suspension, gearbox, etc.. what else is different or beefed-up?
