Post In Search of ... Riviera Blue

I am looking for a Riviera Blue 993. I have found a 97 C4S at PAR, but they have been unable to get hold of the owner. It is not clear if he wants to sell or not so the search continues. I have been trying all of the usual spots, but if any of you have come across a Riviera Blue one please drop me a line. See the link for Riviera Blue...shown is a 996...http://www.whiteson.org/boxster/gallery/other/43448135.shtml

Thanks in advance

How about a turbo? There's a nice low mileage one that keeps popping up on ebay with no takers - Calif car with BIN price of $82K. There was a thread on this about 2-3 months ago.

David, I was thinking the same. I believe the seller also claims it's the only Riviera blue 993 turbo in existence......a great collector car and head turner for sure.

Turbo would be fine...I am aware of the one you referenced on ebay and have attempted to contact the seller at the email provided but I never receive a response.

Amir - Yes that's the one.

1Buck - You may want to email him again. I had emailed him a number of weeks asking a bit more about the car as I was thinking about seeing it in person - he was receptive to my seeing it. In the end I decided not to - I thinks it's a unique and stunning color, just not the right one for me if I am only going to own one turbo. If you need to I can try to dig up his email address from his reply back to me.

1Buck - I've just gone through my email inbox and unfortunately it looks like I deleted it. I believe the email was something like lotusx180r@aol.com but am not 100% sure.

I assume that you have the original auction number? If not http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2156170524

Sorry, wish I could be of more help.

btw it looks like the car has been relisted so you should refer to the new auction number:

Good luck

Here's a 964 in what appears to be Riviera Blue:

Uh, the only Riviera Blue TT??? Then why is that other one listed for sale too?

I guess there IS more than one. Or maybe more than that. That 8400 mi one is MUCH nicer with those sport seats and better interior color IMHO. I just wonder about the 8 cylinder 993 Turbo they have on their website . Doh.

Peace
Steve
