Riviera Blue is the best 993 color. Period. If you don't like it your loss. I wish you luck in your search for one. I wish I could be in a similar search.

Symbolic Motor Cars in La Jolla, CA had a Carrera 4S a while back...it may still be there?

The police attention is enough with a black 993, the riviera blue TT will likely attract a full-blown dragnet just for taking it out of the garage.

is riviera blue different than the turquoise blue that i have also seen?
(these bright colors never look accurate on the computer)
If so, i think riviera blue is great. the turquoise is no nearly as nice, imho.
Also, anyone see a Wimbledon green 993 available? I think this is a really great color and is underrated.

We've had a Riviera Blue 968 Cab at our Hershey meet the last two years-really a nice car in that color. And we've only found one in the US so far in that color as well.

I have not seen Wimbledon Green - is this the light silverish green or a dark color? There was a TTS in the former in Porsche & 911 World, other than that I've only seen Adventurine and Rainforest (mine) greens.

david - wimbledon green is a light, silver (slight) metallic green - it appears on a c2 in the 993 t-equipment catalogue - i think this color is very cool. Anyone see it around?

Is riveria blue a metallic color? i think metallic is important as a long term keeper.

Bill - No offense. Your turquoise car is beautiful. I think your color is similar to the new bmw m3 leguna blue.

Rob - That sounds like the color of the TTS in the mag, very nice color and I'm sure the pictures do not do the color justice; I have never seen one in person.

Riviera is not metallic and not a subtle color - more attention getting than Speed Yellow, I think. The turquoise is also nice, but if I was to get a bright color Porsche, then I'd get something really bright (fly yellow)!

As much as I love silver and black 993s, I do think the 993 shape is complimentary to more unusual and rare colors - colors which a lot of other cars (including 996s and Boxsters) would not be able to pull off. Before I found my green cab and saw the car in person, there was no way that I would have thought about buying a green Porsche.

I saw a Riviera Blue Cab listed on cars.com before. I think it was somewhere in Los Angeles, CA. Good Luck!

David: I must agree with your thoughts on the green . . . mine is Aventurine Green with the Tan interior. I still can't believe I bought a green porsche . . . but the combination on the C4S just works. I saw pic's of your cab . . . and now I'm green with envy . . . (LOL)
