Per the Gulf Coast Blood Center (www.giveblood.org), there will be a big donor center setup at the George R. Brown convention center:

"There will be a special Blood Drive Wednesday, September 12, 2001 at the
George R. Brown Convention Center
from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm"

I got lucky today & showed up at the Red Cross headquarters just as a couple of mobile centers rolled up; tomorrow they should have a large # of stations at the convention center to accomodate a crowd.

I'm too old to run off & join the Marines, so this was what I could do...

 

Thanks for the update Robert. Everyone needs to get out and do this. We had a drive in our building today.
