Post Comfort Pads

While picking up some parts at a
dealer, I saw a sign behind the counter:

993 Comfort Pads
993 351 939 04
993 352 939 03

Had no idea what these were, so I asked.

I was told they are a soft brake pad designed to reduce "pulsation", a rapid steering wheel movement when the bakes are applied. They do not reduce noise. The do not reduce dust.

?!

Just thought it was curious and wanted
to pass it along.

I was told these brake pads were designed to help with brake noise, for those who found regular OEM pads too noisy. My guess is these pads are softer, hence probably not the best for track events, etc.. I'll stick to regular pads, thank you very much!
