Cool

FF,

As for the wife... Believe it or not, I had bought a company (14 years ago) and was just cleaning out my desk at the place I then worked... As I was walking out, she was walking in. Needless to say, I took a little longer "transitioning" out of my old job & into the new.

As for the car... The "PO" (previous owner) said "its about a 1/2 inch lower..." I think he meant an inch & a half. Its darn low. I "fall into" this thing like its a 914.

Fun stuff (both).

Talk about love at first sight...

I'm sure it's more that 1/2 inch lower...

I've been wondering if 1&1/2" lower is low enough (I thing H&R, stage 2 springs should lower that much). It looks like it's (1&1/2") just about right, looks great

Don't worry, it's a skill you learn easily! And, if you haven't figured it out with a husband, believe me, you learn really quickly when you have kids!

My hubby just doesn't say anything - but he refuses to even go to the track and watch the rest of us (my son & daughter have joined me at several TracQuest events).

Hey everyone, thanks for the encouragement that my cross-examining skills are innate and will develop with the right practice. Phew, I was worried!

Michael,

I feel pretty blonde asking about your car's color. Guards red, but I guess on my monitor it has a lot of orange tint to it. Oops.

I have H&R's on my 964, and they dropped the car about 1.5" -- sounds like the same for the 993 springs.

So, have you put the baby seat back there yet? And driven it to your favorite diner?

Can't wait to see some of your driving stories....

Michael,

Great story. My only question is:

Does your wife have a sister?

Thumbs up

Melissa & Will,

Melissa: I have to apologize for my digital cam. This cam I bought is almost amateurish. Sorry! It really does little for colors in general.

The baby seat IS in the back. I have the kid now saying "I want to take the Carrera." It only took about a day for him to convert from "...turbo."

Driving stories are forthcoming. This car was made for great car stories. I will try to keep them "on topic" though!

Will: She does have a sister! However she too is married (the guy is great, but he is a Ford guy. He thought his Ford was fast till he went 11's in my Turbo ). Sorry for you about that. I will tell her ya asked though! They will get a kick out of that.
