Post Buy Split Grille

Does anyone know where i can get a split
grille other than from the dealer? In other words
at a fair price?

Try Gert at <a href="http://www.carnewal.com" target="_blank">www.carnewal.com</a>
He has Porsche original parts at good prices.

What is the "split grill" option? I saw a c2s with this option, but not sure what it is.

It was not an option. It was only installed as standard equipment on the Carrera S.

I installed one on my car about a year ago. FYI you have to replace the whole spoiler not just the grill. I thought I could get by with just replacing the black grill with the split grill after it was painted. No such luck. Them boys in Zuffenhausen use one heck of an adhesive to hold that thing in place. They send the whole spoiler assembly so plan on using it. I do have a C2 black grilled spoiler thats adventurene green if any body wants it

I've got a narrow-bodied coupe and was interested in painting the black grill instead of going through the expense/trouble of the OEM split grill. Anyone hear of anyone painting their grill? Any issues with this?
