Didn't I buy that car two years ago?
Just kidding, mine has a black interior. Personally, I don't think that blue interior works with that exterior.

Hi Steve,
Looks like you're still enjoying your car! I think I'll be joining you (again) shortly. I've picked up the pace on my search. There are lots of nice cars at decent prices coming on the market! The next car will definately be an "S" again (C2S or C4S...doesn't matter to me) and air-cooled. I'm leaning toward silver but almost any lighter color will work!

Sounds good, Bill. I'd get speed yellow if I had to do it again. There isn't even one speed yellow

993 in my whole area, or at least I've never seen one and I drive ALOT! The 993 looks so great in that color, though truly, I guess I prefer the anonymity of my bland silver car .

I still melt every time I see that old blue car of yours in your avatar before you sold it. One showed up at our last Rennlist Meet and Drive and he also had a Silver 2003 C2 with a full aero kit. Both were hot cars. His friend drove his C2 and he drove the 993.

Good luck with your search.

Personally I would be a little careful with this one, it looks like either it's got a story or it could be a bait and switch. And although Polar silver has enough blue in it to be OK with a dark blue int. imho, that doesn't look like a dark enough blue to contrast, I don't know by the pictures maybe it works but. Would prefer black or midnight blue int. myself with polar ext. Still worth a good check at that price.

Bill,

This one has been there for a few months now, it came on the market in late October. I contacted the dealer and they were rersponsive but it wasn't the color combo that I was looking for. But you're right there are alot of cars (nice one) coming on the market...

Gotta wonder what Luxury Motors spent for the car -- I'll bet it's around $38K

I’ve looked at several 993’s at Luxury Motors for Rennlisters, some good some not so good. Usually the cars are priced right and they are willing to deal.

I live a few miles away from Luxury motors so if you need someone to look it over for you let me know. I can go over early next week once the temperature gets out of the single digits here.

One of their young techs flipped a GT2...Out joyriding. He said he was only doing 30 mph.

Midnight Blue interior (and top) with Polar Silver gets huge compliments.

I have empirical data to support that claim.

Actually, if someone could check it out for me I'd appreciate it. At first I wasn't sure if I was interested but the more I think about I think I'd like to know more about it!

Thanks!

Subjective of course, but I really like the blue interior and is along my favorites.

I called the place earlier this morning and the salesman did a walk around for me. It sounded good. He just called me back and says it's been sold. Oh well...NEXT!

Looks like someone on the board "snaked me" on the car. I talked to the salesman again. He said that someone called right after I did and said that they would take the car"sight unseen" if it checks out. The salesman said that the caller seemed to feel a strong sense of urgency and wanted to make sure that they would hold the car to the exclusion of "anyone coming to check out the car for someone else" (a Rennlister offered to check out the car).

Oh well, you win some and lose some...I just thought we were better than that. Maybe the car has CEL issues so I won't feel so bad
