Sponsor for 11-99 Foundation?
Hello,
I have been watching posts on this site since I started looking for my new Porsche. I haven't bought one yet. Can't decide on 993 or 996, but that is another story. I am moving to Northern California on the first of the year and was looking to join the 11-99 Foundation before I arrived. I don't know anyone who is currently a member. I was wondering if any current member would mind sponsoring me? I am joining because I believe it is for a great cause for a great state that am excited to be a part of. I am not looking for a "get out of jail" free card. I have a spotless driving record and am a law abiding citizen so nothing to worry about on that front. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated. You can shoot me an email at michollock@yahoo.com if you have any questions.
Thank you for the help,
Michael

jmriggio....Here is a link to their web site.

Most law enforcement organizations have foundations like this. The CHP has one of the largest and best organized. The Los Angeles Police Department has the Police Memorial Fund. It's the same concept. They are there for the families of fallen officers. Among other things, if an officer dies in the line of duty they will send his or her children to ANY college of their choice. You've got a good heart to look into the 11-99 foundation.
