At 1:19 AM - 12 hours and 19 minutes into the race, here are the Current

cars.......
Car #66 Buckler/Schrom/Bernhard/Bergmei - 1st in GT class, 9th overall...
Car #68 Nearn/Zacharias/Schumacher/Nag - 3rd in class 13th overall...
Car #67 Miaelin/Manfredi/Danieal/Talbert - 12th in class, 28th overall...

Thanks John, keep the updates coming. Hey guys, pull for the underdog and my friends in car #68. They are in an old (relatively) car and have found their way to 3rd place and within 4 laps of the top GT car.

P.S. Not only can you not watch the race on TV but Grand am doesn't even have live scoring and timing. What a crock!

Thanx for the update John. I saw the start of the race earlier today at Speedvision.
They were saying that they didn't expect to see a crowd that big but they said the large crowd was probably due to the many great drivers who are participating in this race.

I just woke up hoping to find (maybe, just maybe) some Daytona coverage on Speedvision (I mean the "Speed Channel"). Oh well.
According to hour 14 results on the Grand Am website, #66 and #68 are running 9th and 10th overall, respectively!!!
I had the pleasure of riding with BJ Zacharias at a DE last fall, as he showed me what my car could really do in the right hands. I watched in amazement from my own passenger seat! Truly inspiring driving and a great guy.
