Default engine removal - distribution chain cover seal

Hi gentlemen,

today I decided to for the replacement of those seals. As it's working close to the exhaust, you imagine easily that here we are in the kingdom of rusty nuts!
Fortunately, if the nuts are rusty, when you try to unscrew them, if the nut is not free, the bolt comes out from the case! On the exhaust, the only bolts I had to drill out were the ones from the heat protector.
But I was stuck on the two bolts hidden between the rear engine cover and the rear engine carrier. Two Alen 6mm which became rounded at the first attempt!
The solution I used was to drill a hole large enough (but not too much) to be able with the help of a good hammer, to force a "torx" in the hole; Then I hit the torx socket with the hammer each time I was setting some torque on the screw...and it came out! Pfff! The second one was useless as a support from the aluminum heat tube was broken. I'll try to find a shop to solder a new one

here is a pict of the catalyser and the heat tube with the missing support:

Then it seem obvious that you have to remove the AC compressor support... but wait a minute it's impossible to remove it without removing the wheels!!! So I just removed the bolts of the support. this was enough to move it to have enough room to insert the wrench and remove the bolt (yep just one) hidden behind the support! Pfff 2nd!

And when everything is removed that's the view you have:

when the cover were removed, I cleaned carefully the seal plan put the new one in the cover "rail". I'll close the cover tomorrow because I have a question for engine specialist:

do you just moist the new seal with oil before closing the plate? Don't you use any loctite seal special to prevent any leak?

And another one: Who could give me the ref of a good technical dictionary? I'm sometimes unable to explain accurately without a correct translation.

Cheers

Oups sorry! I should have read the Workshop manual with more attention. They recommend using Loctite 574.

But please a ref for a car technical lexicon! Thanks!
