Maybe you can use my car for an example. I paid $27K for my 95, with 87K miles, all records, all maintainence done up to date, new tires, upgraded sound system, original gp white paint, no accidents nor repaints. I thought I got a good deal.

Lots of miles in a color that is not on the A list. Also the OBO tells you they would take less. I would have a PPI done if you wanted a relatively inexpensive 993 after an offer a few thou less.

Just my .02

if the car is clean i think it is a steal. not my favorite color, but at that price (or even a few k lower) it would certainly grow on me i think!

it depends...

what options.. how clean? how strong is the engine?

Eric paid $29,900 for his 95 993 last year in November (from Marina Del Ray) and it had 90K miles and is speed yellow... it came with nice goodies like upgraded steering wheel, shift **** and hand brake, full leather interior, lsd, motor sound, RSR mufflers and an obnoxious over-the-top sound system that resold off in pieces totalling over $500

The car ran really strong and only needed a tune up, suspension, and a clutch (and he knew he'd put in a LWF anyway so it was one of those - oh darn, needs a clutch and new suspension...)...

Eric liked the fact that it was only factory parts serviced and that it was the orignal clutch... never seen track (although it does now - hehe) and that even the M030 suspension was original and still drivable (as in the PO babied the car and probably did a lot of long distance driving with it)

..so if it checks out well, has good records, runs strong, and you like it.. why not???

Hi everyone. I purchased a 95 993 with 26,000 miles for 34K last week.. It was a 1 owner car that was returned back to the original Porsche dealer to trade on a 2005 C2S.

The car is a beautiful Iris Blue with Gray interior and excellent shape all round. All services were done and all records were available with no accidents and brand new tires.

The only problem I had is that the rear right seat foot well seems to be leaking water when I drive in the rain but the dealer is taking care of it. Make sure you look underneath the carpeting pads.

So far the car has been a dream come true and the first night of my purchase I couldn't sleep - isn't that retarded??

Hope that that helps give you a ball park pricing gauge.

I have been lurking around for a while and just want to thank everyone for their useful input as it has helped me purchased my dream 911.

Where are you located? Interested to get these pricing updates. BTW, seems like you got a good deal, at least to me. Welcome to the board, now become a member.

I just paid 30K for my black/gray 95 933. 58K miles. All it needed was new front brakes & rotors (700.00). My shop did a comprehensive PPI and they told me it was one of the best 95’s they’d ever seen. It had new tires and clutch, all the services was performed by a dealer. The paint could be better, but I’m really picky about looks. My car was stock; no mods witch I thought was good (except 17” wheels). So far, I’ve upgraded the stereo, and tinted the windows. I’d like to eventually lower it, but I keep hearing mix opinions on the results. I’m not a track guy (yet), I raced MX when I was younger so maybe someday. Currently I’m using it for my daily driver.

If you like green, and the car passes a PPI, then I'd say grab it QUICK. These cars are so much fun to drive, go for it.

Aventurine Green is an odd color for most. I bought mine for 27k with 50k miles. The hood had some scratches but the rest of the car was in great shape.

Hi Father of 3: I am from Seattle, WA and the car was a local car. Thanks I think i got an okay deal considering the low miles of 26K and the excellent paint and interior of the car. Also the Dealer did the Wiring Harness Recall before I purchased the car.

Hey doesn't anyone work around here - Heh Heh. I have to go pick up my 993 around 2PM today from the dealer regarding the water leak - they fixed it free of charge - it was a seam on the right wheel well connecting to the floor pan and will replace the rubber mat in the foot well when it comes in two weeks.

Its a nice day today so I am going for a long drive up to Vancouver Canada. Have fun everyone and thanks again.

Enjoy SR71 and post some pics of the new ride when you get a chance! Sounds like you got a pretty good deal and hopefully now you'll have some friends at a dealer that you can lean on to help with certain parts, etc since you bought a car from them directly [a lot of dealers don't like taking time to treat "non-customers" well]

It seems to me to be a bit over priced because of the miles. Example is that I am selling my 95 993 with 58k for 27,000 USD. Lets see what happens
