Mine are not commute cars. My wife and kids are priorities after work (not sorry about that), so I only drive them on the weekends - makes the work week go faster and the weekends more enjoyable!! :-)

Everyday! Drop my son off at the grandparents each morning, then off to work. I try to take the long way home (Skyline for locals) before jumping on my bicycle for a little exercise. On the weekends I try to stretch her legs at least one of the two days with a trip to Los Gatos or Santa Cruz.

My wife and I carpool to work, and we divide that among three cars. This means the P-car gets used once or maybe twice a week for commuting (about 40 miles round trip). I also do a couple autocrosses and DE’s a year, plus other special occasions. I put about 6,000 or 7,000 miles a year on her.

In chicago the driving basically sucks - city driving to and from work each day for about an hour each way. Now that the snow if finally gone, I try to drive it twice a week.
Once I'm back in Virginia it will be my daily driver!

New England rain and winters has me putting about 4000 miles year on my car. Mostly weekends and the occasional 4.5 mile commute to work. Makes me really appreciate the times that I get to drive it.

This is the first Porsche I have not used daily...this is in large part due to my 2 daughters. I take them to and from daycare everyday. Similar to DAN89, I would rather spend 20 min, twice/day, 5 days/week with my kids than in my Porsche.
I do take my car out almost everynight for ~20 min when I get home from work. This gives my wife some 1on1 time with the girls. On weekends, it is the only car I drive.
For locals: I live very close to 92/280...a quick run from my house to Canada Road, to Edgewood Rd to 280 to home takes me ~20 min. What a way to end the day!!!!

I put on about 400 miles a month. Mostly weekend driving but I sometimes drive it to work if the weather is right.

Well, for the month I've had it, I drive it back and forth to work (20 miles each way) any day it's not snowing or raining, which has worked out to about 7 days out of 30 here in upstate NY. I'm looking forward to a warm, dry summer though...

I use it for both DD & DE (daily driver and drivers ed). I find this car to be quite practical, so why have another? It makes the commute that much more fun

I split fair weather time between p-car and motorcycle. I won't take the p-car on any trip less than about 30 minutes. So far I'm averaging about 1K/month.

Much like Tom_993, live in Orange County, CA - drive mine 1-2 times per week to work, about 40 mi round trip. I bought my 95' with 49k on it 3 years ago this week and now have ~62k, so a little over 3k per year. Only one DE though.
I've found that you need to drive a 993 at least once a week to keep the car healthy and yourself happy.

Maybe 2 times per week if I am lucky. For a total of maybe 50 miles or so. I wish I had the time to drive it more. New son takes most of my time I don't want to miss him doing new things, when he gets older I will drive him around with me.

Weather in Ohio can be a little suspect, I've put about 300 miles on it since I bought it in Dec 2002. I seem to spend more time adding mods, washing, waxing and things like that.
