Default Rain and bra virigin no more!

We drove to Rich Mitsuda's home today in the rain to have the x-pel clear bra kit installled by Eric. After ten year and 5 weeks the car finally got wet in teh rain! Eric did a great job (thank you) and Rich was a great host allowing us to us his garage (very nice layout) - thanks, Rich. Eric has some pictures from the weekend - five cars done - and maybe he can post them when he gets home. Greta job and very reasonably priced.

Peter,

Glad you made it home okay this afternoon! It was very nice to meet you & Joan. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of your car, but I did take some of the ones from yesterday. I'll post those when I get a chance.

I did, however, get a chance to take a picture of WorldFresh's '96 Black C4S parked next to my '96 Black C4S. Twins, I'd say!

Again, great meeting you today, Peter.

OT- So, how is this material? Does he sell precut pieces for people unable to make it to Rich's house?

I'd like to cover some light pieces when I change them out to new.

Not drive in the rain? That would be impossible in Hawaii... especially coming from the Garden Isle, where the "garden" gets watered almost daily.

I'm having trouble resizing some of these pics, so I'll have to send them one at a time:

This is Solitude's beautiful, Glacier White '97 C4S. I loved seeing both of these cars in my driveway! (mine is the black C4S)

Kelly - If I ever make the move to Hawaii, I may have to buy an annual pass for The Bus since my 993 rarely sees the rain!!!

Okay, let's hope these pics come out alright. I resized them, but the file is very small:

Pic #1: WorldFresh's '96 C4S (left) & mine (right). NOTE: The rental car behind WorldFresh's 993 has Chris & Eric in it. Chris was on her way back to the hotel to get ready for her flight back to Chicago.

Pic #2: I'm not sure of his Rennlist name, but this is John's 993 Cab after the install was finished.

Eric did a great job this weekend. He as very meticulous with his work. My family & I enjoyed his company this weekend (Chris, too).

The Rennlisters in the Bay Area will not be disappointed next weekend. I can only hope that the weather is nice & sunny! It was rainy, windy & cold. I guess I can blame Eric for bringing the Chicago weather to SoCal!

Btw, I know Chris & Eric will post other pictures, as well, since they had their own camera. That probably won't be until tomorrow, however.

Hey Rich, So after seeing the "twins" next to each other are you thinking about clear signal covers and a silver hood ornament mod? I know you are, what did you think? I'm getting my car Xpelled by Eric this Sat. glad to hear you all had fun. Your cars all look great.

Yes, Eric can sell you just the material pre cut for the 993... BUT I have to warn you that it isn't all that easy to install if you've never done it. Perhaps we can figure out a way to take a part vacation and part clear bra install for you Hawai'i guys! I love visitinig Hawai'i (been there 4 times already - every Island except Molokai and Nehau -- did I spell that right)?

I DO have photos to download off the camera and post here shortly...

This coming weekend we will be in San Fran to do 5 more Rennlister's Porsche's.

Chris-

For right now, all I'm looking for are pieces to cover up the turn signal lenses. My car is not worth covering up the paint portion as there are numerous nicks and scratches which would have to be fixed before I Xpell it.

PM me prices for those pieces, if you please.

Thanks!

BTW, you were close.. it's Niihau and only a select few ever get to visit the island freely. LOL... sounds like you've been to more of the islands than I have!

Hey Rich,
Sounds like you guys had a great day. How's your back, getting better?
Can you fit two wide bodies in your garage without the fenders scraping. Rhetorical.

Alan,

Thanks for asking about the back. Yes, it's getting better. I'm actually taking my first plane trip tomorrow since the surgery, so I'm hoping things go well. It should and I'm not anticipating too many problems with it (just have to get up every 30 minutes, or so, to walk around). Will you be at the first STS next month?

Glad to hear it Rich. Take it easy until it is completely healed. You need a strong back in life, ya know. Gonna try and make it,... 75% sure. Have a safe flight.
