Post Turbo wing on cabriolet

Is it posible to put a turbo wing on a 96 cabriolet without losing the third brke light? Did they ever make that wing with a third brake light built into it?

Technically the answer is "no" as a factory TT tail is one piece - it just looks like it's a 2 piece - and would replace your entire engine cover. That said, you can install an aftermarket tail which would bolt onto your existing hood (ie MA Shaw, etc) and keep your light bar, or you can install your light bar on a TT tail/hood. I personally think that the cleanest look would be to graft a light onto the leading edge of the TT tail.

Yes, one of the factory Aero tails has a brake light integrated into it...I forgot which one.

Factory Aerokit 1b has the tail light included in the wing and fits a cab (you remove the existing basket handle). You can buy it from Gert.
